Klipsch Flexus, modular soundbar system

American speaker brand Klipsch has announced the Flexus Sound System, developed in collaboration with Japanese audio brand Onkyo. The Flexus Sound System is a soundbar that can be combined with one or more subwoofers and a pair of compact wireless surround speakers. The manufacturer states that initial setup and subsequent expansion are simple.

The Klipsch Flexus Sound System marks the beginning of a collaboration between Klipsch and its sister company, Onkyo, primarily known for its AV receivers. The Flexus Surround 100 wireless surround speakers, the Flexus Core 100 and Core 200 soundbar models, and the Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofer are all part of the Flexus Sound System. The Flexus Core 200 is a 3.1.2-channel soundbar that is larger and more comprehensive than the Core 100.
The units feature Klipsch Transport technology, which, according to the company, quickly connects all components in the system, allowing users to get started as quickly as possible. This feature allows users to expand their current setup with additional surround speakers or subwoofers.
The Klipsch Connect Plus app allows you to control and manage the settings. The soundbars have two 4-inch drivers to handle the bass. Klipsch says a subwoofer isn't always necessary. The Flexus Core 200 features two upward-firing Dolby Atmos drivers and a two-way center channel. While the optional surround speakers require a power cable to connect to a wall outlet, the music signal can be received wirelessly. This is also the case for the subwoofer.
