The AE300 is a compact stand-mount loudspeaker suitable for small to medium-sized rooms. Following the award-winning AE100, it offers a significant improvement in audio quality, materials, and cabinet finish.
Tracing its lineage back to the original AE300, the AE1 utilizes the latest generation of our 130mm mid-bass drive unit. Featuring a brand-new ceramic aluminum sandwich cone with an ultra-shallow profile and an ultra-high-strength, long-throw motor system, this new driver offers improved dispersion, extended bass slam, and overall power handling.
A new 300mm aluminum tweeter has been developed for the 28 Series, offering high power handling and low fundamental resonance to reduce distortion. The key benefit of this new design, however, is its excellent dispersion properties, thanks to our Wide Dispersion Technology waveguides. The waveguides shape the tweeter's acoustic output to match the woofer, creating a wider sweet spot in your listening environment.
The inert 18mm high-density MDF cabinet utilizes patented bracing technology derived from the award-winning Reference series to reduce cabinet coloration and allow the new transducers to breathe freely within the listening environment. The slotted duct port on the rear of the speaker enhances bass response and is carefully engineered to reduce the effects of air turbulence, delivering clean, undistorted bass.
The result is an audio product with clean, uncluttered lines that delivers the exciting and powerful presentation that discerning Acoustic Energy owners have expected for over 30 years.
Finished in gloss black, white, or satin finishes of real walnut wood veneer, the AE300 easily integrates into any interior design by being placed on speaker stands or bookshelves.
