The AE520 is a powerful, slimline floorstanding loudspeaker that builds on the AE500 and AE509 models to firmly establish itself as the brand’s new flagship, with a multi-driver design, impressive size and performance.

The AE520 features two dedicated 125mm mid-range drivers, three low-frequency drivers, and a 25mm tweeter – all crafted from carbon fiber for perfect tonal matching across the entire frequency range.

Two dedicated 125mm carbon fiber midrange drivers feature new oversized 35mm voice coils for low thermal compression and optimal motor power factor. Both are housed in their own custom sealed enclosures, while the three dedicated low-frequency drivers are reflex-loaded through a large rear-facing rectangular port. These new units are designed to match the pistonic force and precision of our legendary ceramic aluminum drivers and offer significantly improved self-damping for a smoother, more transparent sound.

The vertical directivity is optimized to provide excellent vertical coverage while reducing the energy otherwise wasted on ceiling and floor reflections compared to traditional designs.

The slim cabinets are finished in Piano Gloss Black, Piano Gloss White, or American Walnut wood veneer. Solid aluminum rods are used to ensure solid floor mounting and maximum stability, while the rigidity of the metal structure minimizes interference between the room and the speaker.
