Thanks to its long-throw 200 mm woofer, the ASW 608 can move large volumes of air necessary for high-quality bass reproduction, while the high-end 200 W Class 'D' amplifier ensures the necessary cooling of the compact unit, even when the music or movie action reaches a climax.
In all 600 Series subwoofers, the diaphragms are constructed of a robust, finely tuned blend of paper and Kevlar® fiber and resin that provides the stiffness needed to withstand the high physical forces generated by the voice coil and the pressures within the cabinet.
The ultra-solid construction delivers thumping bass, drumbeats, and special movie effects. Distortion is minimized while bass precision, power, and listening enjoyment are maximized.
