Music Hall mmf Mark 1 – Walnut – Turntable – Record player – With Ortofon NN

About the Music Hall mmf Mark1 – Walnut – Turntable – Record player – With Ortofon NN:

Advanced Sound at an Entry-Level Price

Although the Music Hall Mark1 is priced lower than the renowned mmf2.3, the technology used is essentially the same. Roy Hall's signature musical sound is found throughout the Music Hall range, and the Mark1 is no exception.

Completely New Tonearm

Our new all-aluminum, S-shaped design, with a precision aluminum headshell, allows us to achieve the highest possible level of rigidity and internal damping. The tonearm flange is CNC-machined, allowing for precise mounting of the tonearm to the heavy-duty chassis. VTA is fully adjustable, a feature rarely seen in this price range. This uncompromising solution allows us to achieve that signature Music Hall sound.

The magnetic anti-skating feature is quite a luxury. And the factory-set, preset, and fixed counterweight makes adjustment a breeze.

cartridge

We've ensured that a cartridge is fitted that perfectly matches the tonearm's characteristics. The Mark1 uses a high-quality, ultra-fast, and dynamically low-mass cartridge from one of Europe's leading cartridge manufacturers, the Ortofon OM 5E. This creates a beautiful, full sound, something that has previously been impossible to achieve in a budget turntable.
