The NorStone Arran XLR cable is designed for the most demanding audiophiles and professionals who demand uncompromising sound quality and reliable signal transmission. This high-quality balanced cable features gold-plated XLR connectors (24k gold on copper), ensuring excellent conductivity, minimal transition resistance, and a durable, stable connection.
For maximum signal purity, the Arran XLR uses multi-stranded 4N OFC copper conductors (Oxygen-Free Copper, 99,99% pure). This material is known for its superior electrical properties and contributes to a rich, detailed, and dynamic sound reproduction.
The internal construction features double shielding with cotton fiber, which effectively dampens micro-vibrations and thus minimizes unwanted mechanical influences on the audio signal. In addition, the external insulation layer of thick aluminum foil combined with PVC provides powerful protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI).
