This new loudspeaker series features the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/bass driver, first introduced in the award-winning 5000 Series and M40 active micro-tower loudspeakers. Q Acoustics' latest engineering platform elevates the 3000c beyond its rivals, delivering a sound characterised by an articulate and responsive mid-range, controlled yet powerful bass dynamics, and nuanced and detailed high frequencies, alongside an exceptional soundstage never before experienced at this level.
Modern looks
The 3000c series builds on the signature look and feel of the 3000i, reflecting evolving interior design tastes. Building on Q Acoustics' minimalist design philosophy and reflecting the minimalist character of the C3 profile, the 3000c is visually more minimalist, with no noticeable joins or bolts. A new, elegant, one-piece driver finish, in satin nickel and satin chrome (white only), offers a refined enhancement to the cabinet front, while all-new finishes complete the series' design elevation.

Available in four new, modern, and premium finishes, the 3000c series complements any interior. C3 Continuous Curved Cone™
A true advancement in mid-range and bass driver design, the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile is the result of extensive research and expert engineering to combine the bass performance of a traditional straight cone with the high/mid-range frequency control of a flared cone.
By creating a single, smooth, continuous curve profile, the benefits are numerous. Firstly, the excellent dispersion, combined with the well-controlled frequency response, ensures smoother integration with the tweeter. Deep bass dynamics are also superior, which, together with the tighter, damped bass, allows for greater flexibility in placing speakers close to the walls of the listening room.
Design of the mid/bass driver in the Q Acoustics 3010c
The groundbreaking C3 cone is at the heart of the 3000c midrange/bass design. The cone geometry requires exceptional motor strength for optimal performance, so powerful magnets are coupled to the voice coils. The control provided by the large magnets ensures good dynamic response, headroom, and tight bass. Besides these benefits, the large magnets also allow the pole plate and yoke to reach near saturation, which reduces flux modulation and harmonic distortion.
Design of the high-frequency driver
Based on the tweeter design principle of the latest Concept Series, the high-frequency driver unit is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated (floating) from the baffle to prevent internal pressure modulation from the cabinet and the adjacent mid/bass driver. The inner chamber is also carefully vented for reduced distortion, with a lower crossover point for seamless integration throughout the crossover area.
P2P™ (Point to Point) reinforcement
Q Acoustics' P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing, used throughout the 3000c series, supports the cabinet components requiring bracing. This makes the new cabinets exceptionally rigid, improving stereo image focus and delivering a more precise soundstage than ever before.
HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)
The 3050c, like all floorstanding loudspeakers, is susceptible to internal pressure buildup that creates unwanted standing waves and coloration. To prevent this, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer™) tubes are incorporated into the cabinet to neutralize the internal pressure and improve frequency response.
