Specially designed to meet any situation, the M40 delivers stunning stereo sound no matter where it comes from. Built-in Bluetooth® 5.0 ensures rock-solid wireless connectivity and is compatible with aptX HD and aptX Low Latency technology, allowing high-resolution sound (up to 24-bit/48kHz) to be streamed from any compatible device such as a smartphone, laptop, tablet or even from suitable televisions. Connect the M40 to a computer via the USB input and up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution is available.
A range of connectivity options
The M40 has plenty of inputs to bring your game console, TV, set-top box, pre-amplified turntable, or any other audio source you like into the high-fidelity audio action. You can even connect a subwoofer if you really want to rock the room. Special grille design, the Q Acoustics M40
Special attention was paid to the M40's grille design. By attaching the grille to the baffle instead of removing it, the baffle's rigidity is increased and the grille's structure, especially around the drivers, is significantly reduced. The M40's open grille design minimizes interference with sound dispersion patterns and reduces reflections for smoother sound reproduction.
C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ driver design
The M40 features Q Acoustics' latest development in driver technology: the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/bass driver. First seen and heard in the award-winning 3 Series loudspeakers, the C5000 (pronounced "C cubed") combines the superb bass performance of a traditional straight cone with the control and fidelity of a flared cone. The best of both worlds, in other words.
Award-winning cabinet technology
Furthermore, the M40 features a decoupled tweeter for clear, clean highs, along with Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™ (HPE™) technology to reduce unwanted standing waves within the cabinet. The cabinet itself is beautifully crafted, impeccably finished, and incorporates Q Acoustics’ patented Point to Point™ (P2P™) internal bracing to keep the speaker as stiff and inert as possible.
