Versatile, the Q Acoustics Q ACTIVE 200
Q Acoustics designed the Q Active range from the ground up with the express aim of delivering an uncompromising, versatile high-resolution system that can play music from any source – TV, network music streamer, smartphone, laptop or even a turntable.
Each pair of speakers comes with a compact central control hub, configured for Google Chromecast built-in, allowing users to connect to a variety of wired and wireless sources. The hub can be connected to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Sound
The Q Active series is a truly active design, using Class D amplification to eliminate the need for a bulky external amplifier or receiver. Q Active 200 speakers feature two Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drive units in an offset configuration, delivering wide-field sound dispersion and a huge sweet spot—so wherever you sit in the room, you'll hear the same rich, detailed, and expressive sound from the Q Active speakers.

In addition to the panoramic widescreen sound delivered by the BMR array and the deep, controlled bass offered by the carefully specified and positioned subwoofers, Q Acoustics has paid meticulous attention to how the Q Active 200 cabinet contributes to the system’s outstanding sonic performance.
'Dart' bracing features within the Q Active 200 cabinet to provide essential rigidity to the cabinet and equally useful mechanical stability to the rear-firing subwoofer units.
