The REKKORD F400 is a fully automatic sub-chassis turntable that not only impresses with its sound but is also a real eye-catcher. The fully automatic system, as well as the tonearm and damped aluminum platter, are built on a floating sub-chassis platform decoupled from the rest of the chassis. The F400 features a weightless tracking force adjustment that optimizes the center of gravity directly at the bearing center. The automatic system is adjusted and refined by experienced technicians and is based on a highly complex mechanism that has been traditionally developed and further refined over decades. The pre-tuned, high-quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on a carbon fiber-reinforced headshell that provides the perfect connection with the aluminum tonearm. The 2M Red is a universal cartridge that delivers an open and dynamic sound with a touch of warmth. The plinth is made of MDF and is available in four different finishes: satin black, high-gloss black, and cherry or Macassar real wood veneer. Cables, dust cover and a single adapter are supplied with the turntable.
