About the HT/1003

If space, or rather the lack thereof, is an issue and you can manage with less power than a larger REL can offer, the HT/1003 is the subwoofer for you. It essentially does exactly the same as its bigger brother, only slightly less powerful. The powerful 10” long-throw woofer is comfortably driven by the built-in 300W amplifier. This woofer is suitable for both home theater applications and gaming setups. As REL puts it: scaled-down design, upsized performance. Even if you already own a Ti or S model from REL, an HT/1003 can handle the LFE channel and provide that extra edge in the latest Mission Impossible.

Built with a Purpose

At first glance, the HT/1003 is a cute little box. Its proportions minimize its visual impact, while the depth of the cabinet leaves enough space to produce a convincing and thunderous bass. Quite surprising, actually, at this price point. The textured lines of the composite finish further emphasize the subwoofer's slender character. The top surface reveals REL's craftsmanship with no fewer than five layers of lacquer. Bring on those special effects!
