Ultra Low Distortion Oversampling Digital Filter

The digital oversampling filter uses Technics' proprietary algorithm that shifts the sound image to a level below -160dB. This creates a warmer and more spacious soundstage.

High Res Re-master

Technics has developed a signal processor capable of increasing both the sampling rate and bit depth. High-Res Re-master converts audio signals to a resolution of up to 176kHz/24-bit for the most faithful and expressive reproduction of the original music.

High-Precision Master Clock

Uses a high-precision crystal as the clock master. This synchronization system controls the CD SoC, Audio DSP, and D/A converters, resulting in accurate playback of various content.

High-quality analog circuit

It uses a high-precision crystal as the master clock, and independently operating high-quality D/A converters (Burr-Brown PCM1795) for the left and right channels. The circuits are fully symmetrical to eliminate interference between the left and right channels. Furthermore, the signal paths are kept as short as possible to prevent signal loss during transport. The result is clear and expressive sound reproduction.

High Rigidity Metal Double Chassis

To prevent vibrations and noise from affecting the purity of the sound, the Premium System features a sturdy metal housing with a double chassis, consisting of a sheet steel inner chassis and a sheet steel outer chassis.

High Quality Components

The power supply circuit and signal paths, which have a major influence on sound quality, are made with high-quality electrolytic capacitors and film resistors selected through extensive listening tests.

Play at “1 x Speed”

To minimize the noise generated by the mechanism and motor, a CD is played at "1x speed." This minimizes power fluctuations and allows for the reproduction of subtle details.
