YPAO™ features Precision EQ, which performs exceptionally accurate equalization with an accuracy of up to 192 kHz / 64-bit audio resolution. YPAO™ RSC (Reflected Sound Control) works together to actively control the important early reflection sounds, automatically adjusting and optimizing how the sound is heard in your room based on the wall material and speaker placement. This means you can enjoy the deep sound and immersive feeling unique to high-fidelity audio – in the comfort of your own living room.

TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER

Usually reserved for flagship hi-fi components, the R-N2000A benefits from the engineering prowess and absolute musicality of a toroidal transformer. Combined with a range of high-quality hi-fi features and components, the toroidal transformer helps convey musical emotion to the listener. Furthermore, a 3mm copper foot is placed between the bottom of the transformer and the inner chassis to control vibration within the transformer, delivering an overwhelmingly spacious sound full of realism.

HIGH-QUALITY DAC

To achieve a clear, transparent soundstage while delivering a rich and fully detailed level of musicality, we adopted ESS Technologies' state-of-the-art ES9026PRO digital-to-analog converter. This high-performance DAC provides highly accurate signal conversion via the balanced analog audio output and further refined power delivery for four-channel operation, effectively reproducing even the subtle ambience of concert halls and delicate expressive nuances in sound.

LOW IMPEDANCE CONCEPT

To thoroughly eliminate energy loss and audio signal degradation, the R-N2000A uses thick wires for ground connection, a critical feature that ensures the components are truly premium Hi-Fi. Furthermore, a screw connection is used at the output of the power amplifier section to strengthen the ground, which is important for audio quality. This achievement creates an open, natural soundstage, bringing the artist and listener closer together.

MECHANICAL GROUND CONCEPT

Just like Yamaha's flagship Hi-Fi model, the R-N2000A utilizes a mechanical base concept. This concept begins with the foot bolts welded directly to the main chassis and continues with the large heat sink, power transformer, and block capacitors, which are also bolted directly to the chassis. This design prevents unwanted vibration, resulting in a powerful, highly expressive low-frequency response that lets you feel the deep groove of your music.

SILVER-PLATED BRASS FEET

The amplifier’s rock-solid rigidity is complemented by heavy silver-plated brass feet that firmly amplify the rich, fundamental low-frequency response, filling it with musicality.

FLOATING AND BALANCED POWER AMPLIFIER

Equipped with our original amplifier technology, the power amplifier circuit, including the power supply, is completely ground-independent, completely eliminating the influence of minute voltage fluctuations and external ground noise. This circuit design results in a variety of advantages, including perfect symmetry of pull-pull operation in the output stage, the achievement of an excellent S/N ratio, and overwhelming expressive power that perfectly brings out the sound of any musical instrument.

SYMMETRICAL CONSTRUCTION

Following the embodiment of stereo reproduction in this component, the R-N2000A adopts a perfectly symmetrical, foldable construction, with the power supply in the center and the power amplifier blocks at either end of the main unit. This gives the unit ideal weight balance and suppresses adverse effects between channels for exceptional channel separation. The result is a remarkably pure reproduction of every part of the sound – exactly as it is.

STUNNING VU METERS

The elegant level meters are reminiscent of the nostalgic era of hi-fi, while simultaneously signaling the return of pure hi-fi for today's discerning enthusiast. The level meters visually represent the dynamics and pulse of the music and convey a warm feeling with their softly illuminated LEDs. Furthermore, the bottom of the front panel features a brilliant, high-definition organic LED display that shows the content currently playing.

HDMI ARC TERMINAL

Get true hi-fi sound on your TV. The R-N2000A is compatible with HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), allowing you to connect to your TV with just one cable. Excellent sound quality.

USB DAC FUNCTION

A stable transmission method has been adopted using asynchronous transmission. Furthermore, a high-precision dedicated crystal clock has been installed to enhance signal accuracy.
