The first Yamaha stereo receiver to feature YPAO, Yamaha Parametric Acoustics Optimization. The R-N803D inherits this technology directly from Yamaha's RX-A and RX-V series surround receivers. YPAO helps you create an ideal listening environment at home.
Thanks to ESS's SABRE 9006AS 192kHz/24-bit DAC, the Yamaha R-N803D achieves superb signal-to-noise ratios, even with high-resolution audio up to 5.6MHz DSD Native.
The MusicCast makes everything controllable with an app for Android and iOS, tablets, and smartphones. This allows you to combine the RN-803D amplifier with any other MusicCast-compatible device. This way, you can listen to your favorite streaming services and internet radio comfortably throughout your home.
The built-in DAB, DAB+n FM tuner has 40 presets available. The R-N803D also has presets available for your streaming needs.
Besides all the streaming features, this amplifier is also Bluetooth and AirPlay compatible. Bluetooth input and output are available, as well as a USB port on the front panel.
There's a phono connection for a turntable, as well as a subwoofer output. The Yamaha R-N803D receiver also has four digital inputs: two optical and two coaxial.
The speaker outputs, A+B, have screw terminals and are also suitable for banana plugs.
